I am writing in response to the advertisment for a cook which appeared in www.ara.cat on 21 January 2013. I would like to be considered for the position and I enclose my CV.

As you will se from my CV, I have experience of cooking in different kinds of restaurant. I teach cooking in the summer to people who wants to improve their way of cooking.

I am suitable for the post because I am hardworking and creative. I would also describe myself as a patient persona and also very sociable

I am available from early February I would be happy to attend an interview. I look forward to hearing from you soon.

NARRATIVE ESSAY

I had never forgotten my first time in Mestalla, València.

I was twelve. We went to see a football match in the stadium of València C.F.
I went there with my friend and neighbour Sergi, and is father.

It was a hot summer day. We arrived in València in the afternoon and we were really thrilled. First, we got in the stadium and we found our seat. Then, we had to wait until the match started.

Next, the players of both teams came out onto the pitch. I was completely astonished.

Finally, the match ended with a tie.

In the end we returned to my town, Ascó. We had a great day. We enjoyed it a lot and were very happy.

GAP YEAR

If I could have a gap year this summer probably I went far away.

Firstly, I would visit Norway because until I was a child I wanted to visit that country, mainly because I like so much this landscapes and this climate. If I couldn’t visit Norway for any reason, I would visit another country nearly Norway.

Secondly, if I had time I would like to visit England only for learn a bit more of English. Also I would visit the London Eye, it’s spectacular!

To conclude, I believe that If I had a gap year I would like to pass it travelling.

Discussion essay

People say that dogs are the best friend of human.

More specifically, dogs are very beneficial for the human. For example, they provide security and protection if you want this.

Dogs, also offer company, a lots of people when they are old opt to have a company dog. Besides, dogs provide health benefits, because they required go out.

However, have a dog also has disadvantages, for instant, the cost of food or time.

Additionally, you should have a lot of responsibility because dogs requires a lot of attention.

OPINION ESSAY

Nowadays, people use internet a lot, because it has been a great development for all the people. Internet allows us to do many things: working, playing games, searching information or chatting with your friend from other continents.

In my opinion, internet has improved many things, for example, the communication between people. I am convinced that in few years all the society will use Internet for things as simple as to buy things or to speak on the telephone.

In conclusion, Internet has made evolved the society, and I am convinced that it will continue doing so.

NARRATIVE ESSAY

Last month I had an experience that I’ll never forget. When I and my friend Eric we escaped from our houses and stayed on his holiday’s house, a group of thieves broke into his house. The thieves were dressed like clown, clowns terrified me!

Luckily the robbers only pretended to steal money and didn’t hurt us, or so we believed.

After a few minutes, the robbers took everything that was valuable.

Later, my friend saw that a thief took his playstation, and he burst into tears, he loved his computer games!

Finally, when we saw as they left with all the objects, pictures, television, Eric’s playstation, the “thieves” took off the masks, and we saw that they were our parents… it was the best lesson that I will ever learn!

TRAVELLING IS FANTASTIC

People like travelling and visiting a lot of places, making the luggage and searching online offers, too. Everyone loves travelling!

In my opinion, travelling is very interesting, because you can discover the lifestyle of a lot of countries. When you travel you meet new people and their customs and culture.  I think that if you spend your holidays in one place you’ll be bored; going on holidays to lots places is funnier.

My first trip was to Africa in 2008. It is a very different country from ours because African people have not got anything. Children work very hard to eat, they do not go to school and they have not got toys. I was astonished because a lot of people lived in really bad conditions!
In this travel, I realized that we live very well and Europe’s people live better than Africans.

Since that trip, I love it! Travelling is an amazing experience for me!
